1 Year and 72 Hours Health Guarantee
Health guarantee against genetic defects and life-threatening health issues valid until the puppy’s first birthday.
The breeder guarantees this puppy to be of sound health and temperament at the time of sale. The breeder will provide a health record of all shots, de-worming’s, and a veterinarian exam. Breeder agrees to replace the puppy or refund the cost of the puppy if a licensed veterinarian judges it to be in a non-healthy condition upon arrival. The examination should be completed within 72 hours of receiving the puppy. The breeder must be made informed of the examination that indicates that upon receiving the puppy, the puppy was unfit for purchase due to life threatening illness, disease, or congenital defect with proper documentation by a licensed vet. If the puppy is in fact unfit for purchase, buyer must return the puppy to the seller unharmed. No veterinarian fees or transportation cost will be covered.
Great care is provided to all puppies, if the condition can be treated, it is not considered life-threatening and is not covered (Coccidia, Kennel Cough, umbilical hernia, cherry eye, undescended testicle, under or overbite, grade 1 or 2 patella’s, internal and external parasites, Giardia, fungal infections, or any preventable conditions or conditions that can be corrected by veterinarian treatment). Adult color or final weight can not be guaranteed.
During transfer, puppies can become stressed by the change in environment. Minor problems such as diarrhea, coccidiosis, upper respiratory, kennel cough, etc. may occur and must be treated. These conditions are the responsibly of you, the buyer. These and other minor health problems that may be contracted during transfer are not covered by this guarantee.
If a puppy should be diagnosed with or die from a suspected defect within 12 months of its birth date, a written statement from the licensed veterinarian must be provided stating that the death was directly caused by congenital defect. The guarantee is void in the event of an indeterminable or inconclusive diagnoses.
If the puppy should develop any problems, you are required to inform us so that parents and siblings can be evaluated.
Buyer Responsibility
Owning a puppy means trips to the veterinarian, which you, the buyer, are responsible for. It is up to you to provide your puppy with the routine preventative care it needs. Physical examinations by a licensed veterinarian and careful attention to health guidelines for vaccinations and de-worming’s are the sole responsibility of you, the buyer. The buyer should get the puppy in to see a vet within one week of transfer and start appropriate vaccinations, etc. as needed according to your puppy’s age. This guarantee is void if your puppy is not receiving routine vet checks and/or if the puppy is not receiving the appropriate immunizations, de-wormings, heartworm pills, rabies and flea/tick medication properly. A puppy is a wonderful addition to your home and requires appropriate treatment and training.
